Sense&Control is a powerful service running on the Smartspot to implement some actions that are locally performed by the Smartspot.
The idea behind Sense&Control is to allow users to program a small amount of functionality into a Smartspot. This functionality will then continue to run, even when the connection to Brain server is lost.
The Sense & control service contains a programmable rule based engine that lets a Smartspot performs actions (through so called controls) based upon input (so called senses).
Example
For example, the action to switch a port based upon a particular input, e.g. the presence of a particular tag. This example can represent a real life situation where a gate should be open automatically in case a particular person is present at the gate.
