Live Presences layout
The figure below shows an example of the Live Presences user interface. The page displays all item presences at all the locations. There are three columns: location, item and proximity.
Columns
Location
Shows the location label where the Item is being detected.
Item
Shows the Item technology using a generic icon for the item type and the code (or label if specified by the user). It is possible to label an item to identify it by a simple name instead of the item code. This can be done via the item editor.
Proximity
Shows the proximity for this item presence at this specific location. Proximity is specified as one of the following options: Far, Near or Immediate.
Note: It is possible that an item is present at more than one location at the same time. This means that the item is in range and being detected by multiple Smartspots. The application shows item presences, not the current assigned item location.
Filters
Filters allow you to filter the item presences based on item and presence properties such as: code, label, technology, location, proximity and item list sets.
Add Filters
Filters can be added by clicking on the the Show filters button. The filter menu will appear. All enabled filters will be added as labels in your screen. It is also possible to add a filter directly from item presences by clicking on one of the objects listed in the item or location columns.
Remove Filters
To remove a filter uncheck the checkbox in the filter menu or remove the filter label. The following animation shows you how to use some of the filter options.
The animation below gives a small demo of the Live Presences filters.
Proximity Visualization
The Proximity Visualization of the Item can opened by clicking on the Item proximity. The following animation shows you how to open this visualization.
