This article provides general instructions on how to connect to Brain server and setup a Smartspot for the first time.
A Smartspot can be powered using PoE or a 12VDC wall adapter. If using PoE make sure your switch supports PoE or use a PoE injector which is capable to supply at least 12 Watt.
Connect the Smartspot to internet using an Ethernet cable (not provided) to your router or switch as shown in the image below.
Default a Smartspot will sound a three-tone beep to indicate startup. It takes about 10 seconds for the Smartspot to fully boot and connect to the internet. If successful, the Smartspot might try to update firmware and/or retrieve scheduled setting configurations from Intellifi Dashboard. During this process, the Smartspot might reboot a couple of times.

Open Live Presences in your browser. This page shows all detections in Brain Server. For a Smartspot with RFID, hold a RFID tag in front of the antenna, For a Smartspot with BLE, an active BLE tag should be near the Smartspot. Detections are shown based on assigned location.
